Proton Pump Inhibitors.

 The proton pump inhibitors or PPI are a menace drugs with many unwanted side effects.They are are also known pharmacologically as HK ATPase Inhibitors.This enzyme causes the release of Hydrogen cations into the stomach lumen through parietal cell canaliculi.PPI'S inhibit this enzyme and prevents the release of Hydrogen cations into the stomach lumen thereby effectively curbing the formation of Hydrochloric acid inside of stomach and thereby causes symptomatic relief from hyperacidity.PPI'S are oesomeprazole,omeprazole,lansoprazole,Pantoprazole and many other newer PPI'S.These are chemically substituted benzimidazole's.Imidazole is a known carcinogen if it's used for longer duration as a medicine.Therefore,next time you popup a PPI think about it's long-term impact on your health.Try Yoga to get rid of flatulence and other effects due to hyperacidic states.Have a nice day after reading my post.Thank's.
